BSR Sponsor Program

BSR is a 501(c)7 Non-Profit organization and can accept charitable cash  contributions or gifts from members and non-members wanting to sponsor one of our athletic teams or activities or make an upgrade to our facility.  Contributions are not tax deductible.

Anyone interested in sponsoring the Swim Team, Tennis Team, or donating cash or other gifts to the Club may do so under this new program.  You can sponsor the Club as an individual, a family, or your business name.  Club events such as swim meets and social functions can be sponsored at the rates shown below.

Sponsors will be recognized on our web site, a Sponsor’s Board at the Pool, at the specific event, and in periodic Club mailings and swim meet programs. 

All sponsor contributions can be targeted to the facility or program area of your choice. 

BSR wants to partner with your local business to help market the Club and expand out membership.

Past Sponsors Include:

• Ado Valge - 2007 - donated funds  for 4 new umbrellas for the life guard chairs.
• Wystan Simons - 2007 - donated time and materials for landscaping along the garage.
   
• Dave Fusick & KAM Aquatics
  • 2007 - Dave Fusick (President of KAM Aquatics) donated a large grill and All Star Meet Life Guard Support to the Club
  • 2006 - Dave Fusick (President of KAM Aquatics) handcrafted and finished the beautiful new wooden signs over the bulletin boards at the Club.  The signs that we had for years were STOLEN last year!.  Dave also donated a new back board to BSR.
  • 2005 - Donated the digital billboard sign hanging over the Guard Room to announce upcoming BSR Events. For 2006 Dave's gift to BSR are new wooden engraved signs over the bulletin boards (after hanging safely for over 15 years, they were stolen in 2005!).

  • 2007 - New computer monitor for front gate.
  • 2006 - Purchased the four Banners and brackets on the street lights in the parking lot and in front of BSR.  One "Welcome to BSR" banner and 3 Orange Barracuda Banners.
  • 2005 - Purchased the Swim Team Championship Banners hung at the pool to commemorate the 21 years that the Swim Team won one (or more) of the three championship trophies awarded each year -- the PMSL Division Championship, the Bowie City Meet Championship, or the Bowie Invitational Relays Crescendo Winner.

  • 2005 - Donated the PC and monitor at the front desk that is being used for our Gate Entry System.
     
• John Morrissey
  • 2006 -Donated his raffle winnings of 2006 Maintenance Fee ($420 value) won at the September 2005 Annual Membership meeting to the Club for a good use.  A fund was established to assist needy members with paying their dues.
