2008 Swim Team Pictures will be taken on July 17th. The team picture will be taken at 10:30 AM, which means they will start to set up at 10:15. Please be there by 10:15. Individual pictures will follow the team picture.

Evening Practice Mon-Fri June 2-6     
10 & under: 4:30 - 5:30 PM; 11 & over: 5:30 - 6:30 PM  

Morning Practice starts Monday June 9         
10 & under: 8:00 - 9:15 AM; 11 & over:  9: 15 - 10:30 AM  

Mini-Team Practice Mon-Fri June 2-6: 4:30-5:30 PM;
Mornings start Mon Jun 9 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM

First Dual Meet: Sat, June 21st. Dual ‘A’ Meets each Saturday through July 19^th.   All Stars Meet Sat, Aug 2nd.

 Swim Team Head Coach.  2007 was Ms. Abbie Thompson's first year as the BSR Barracuda's Head Coach.  Abbie, a teacher at Bishop McNamara, has been coaching since 2001 at the collegiate, USA Swimming, and summer club levels.  She is an ASCA level 3 coach and is very passionate about swimming and working with children of all ages.  Along with her busy schedule of coaching and teaching, Abbie is also attending graduate school at The George Washington University.  Assistant Coaches for 2008 are TBD.

SCRATCH BOOK - Any swimmer unable to make a Saturday A Meet should ensure they have noted it in a “Scratch Book” that is in the pool office. See the gate guard or manager to get the book. Scratches should be made no later than the conclusion of the Wednesday practices.

The BSR swim team is working with the MetroSwim Shop to offer members swim suits and other supplies. MetroSwim Shop has great service and is also located near BWI Airport off of Route 97 in Glen Burnie.  You can purchase your new suit at Open House in May or by calling Pam Pulley at 443 891-0800. The new suit is in the first year of availability in 2007, and is a two year team suit (meaning it is marketed for 2 years) which MetroSwim Shop and TYR has committed to making available to BSR for 3 years with a possible 4th year. The girls suit is available for $43.50, and a boys jammer is $29.25. If you need any other equipment, such as goggles, kickboard, etc., please call Pam and she will be glad to bring them to Open House.
We will also have BSR swim caps available $3.00, and T-shirts will be available for $12.00.
