Bowie City Invitational Relay Meet Results:

BSR hosted the 23rd Annual Bowie Invitational Relay meet on Tuesday June 26th.   Two City Relay records were set by the 13-14s of BSR and one by the BBT 15-18 Boys.  BSR’s 13-14 girls relay of Nandi Ross (14), Caitlin Magaw (13), Renee Mattox (14), and Amanda Barber (13) broke an 8 year old 200 meter Freestyle Record with a time of 2:01.34.  Caitlin Magaw and Amanda Barber teamed with Ethan Smith (14) and Adam Enoch (13) to smash a 20 year old Mixed 200 Meter Freestyle record by over 4 seconds with a time of 1:56.88. 

BBT’s 15-18 boys relay team of Jack Sminkey (17), Chris Cranford (15), Matt Gannett (16), and Paul Gannett (18) broke a 19 year old 200 Meter medley relay record with a time of 1:58.09.

The premier event of the meet, the Crescendo Relay, was won by Belair Bath and Tennis with a time of 5:05.68.   The relay team includes 10 swimmers - a boy and a girl from each of the five age groups.  Swimmers on the BBT winning relay were:
